See by Chloé

The line began in 2001, when Phoebe Philo was head designer at Chloé. The decision to introduce See by Chloé as a diffusion line was taken not only to give current Chloé customers more choice, but also to attract the Chloé girl’s younger sister.

The See by Chloé range still has all the feminine hallmarks inseparable from the Chloé name, but there is more of a cool edge than in Chloé’s premiere line. The affordability and quality of the pieces really endear the brand's range to a generation of cool, young girls about town such as Rachel Bilson, Leighton Meester and Kate Bosworth.

Chloé was launched in 1952 by Gaby Aghion as one of the original ready-to-wear houses in Paris. The house came to prominence during the 70’s while Karl Lagerfeld was at the helm. Chloé has since had an amazing track record of designers, including Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, and currently Hannah MacGibbon.
